Compound-oriented Measurement Processes: Elements, Molecules, Structures

The international IEEE flagship conference in measurement technologies was just held in Dubrovnik. CELISCAs researchers Heidi Fleischer and Kerstin Thurow contributed a very fundamental paper on compound oriented measurement technologies.

The paper displays the fundamental approaches and techniques to allow valuable measurement results in the complex and sophisticated environmental, chemical, biological and medicinal areas. Often, the species of interest are  to be found (identified) and to quantified in overwhelming amounts of matrix substances. This leads into complex measurement systems containing both pre-sensoric selective sample preparation elements as well as highly selective/specific and sensitive sensor systems.
