Automation and Measurement Technologies in Life Science Engineering meet Translational Medicine Research in Singapore

Among the most valuable research initiatives are those taking care of human health.  Celisca is engaged in supporting both preventive and curative medicine programs.

Actually, robot assisted processing of samples combined with specialized molecular and cell based measurement technologies in personalized medicine grows to an emerging topic. One of the worldwide premier research institutions, the Cancer Science Institute (CSI), is located at Singapore’s University (NUS) at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Celisca’s Associate Director and PI Dr. Heidi Fleischer, specialized in the field of new molecular, elemental and cellular process measurement technologies, met with Dr. Edward Kai-Hua Chow - PI at CSI, working in the field to understand and to treat cancer with new nanomedical approaches  - to discuss and develop related joint Asia-Europe research programs.
